RAMA M4-A

I partnered with industrial designer Renan Ramadan on his first mechanical keyboards - a four-key and a ten-key macropad. I took point on the firmware, electronics, PCB design & assembly, and the configurator app to program the keyboard - an electron app with native DFU flashing capabilities.

We did a short run of hand-assembled boards and shipped to over 100 mechanical keyboard enthusiasts over at geekhack.

Its fun seeing these little boards out in the wild, and seeing how people customize them with their own keycaps and finishes. Small-batch manufacturing is a lot of work, but worth it to see people happy with the product you’ve put out into the world.
